Meet Our Surgical Staff
Morgan Webster – Patient Care Coordinator
Morgan Webster is beyond blessed to be a part of the HPCS team, and to coordinate for Dr. Erika Sato. Morgan and her husband (talk radio personality, Producer Kenny of the Walton & Johnson Show and Micheal Berry Show) are Houstonian-transplants by way of Chicago. Morgan received her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago, as well as two Midwest Emmy nominations for her work in production and reporting. Her investigative reporting work has been published in several Chicago news outlets including the Chicago Tribune. Morgan has always had a passion for musical performance. She spent her twenties singing and dancing in review shows at Six Flags Great America, and although she never studied musical theater at Columbia she starred in several of their main stage shows, including her favorite musical of all time – Westside Story. She loves travel and adventure, and in 2005 was a contestant on CBS’s Survivor: Guatemala. Her and her husband spend their free time road-tripping around Texas, and have made it their life mission to convince their family back in Illinois to move down to the great state of Texas!
Cynthia Melara – Medical Assistant
Cynthia Melara, is our bilingual medical assistant (fully fluent in Spanish) born and raised in Houston, TX. She developed a strong sense of devotion for the medical field and began studying Mortuary Science at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services. In addition, she has served with Faith In Practice and traveled to Guatemala for her first medical mission trip in May 2018. Cynthia is a vital part of Dr. Sato’s team and enjoys working with patients pre and postoperatively.
Jana Haggard BSN, RN
I have had the privilege of serving in the nursing field since April 2012. My nursing career began in the Operating Room at Memorial Hermann Hospital- TMC where I was first introduced to the surgeons within this practice. After a few years I was asked to join their ranks. I love the variety of care I get to offer my patients at HPCS in the roles of pre-operative, clinical, operating room and recovery nurse. Aside from work, I am happily married and live nearby in Southwest Houston. We have one yellow lab and our first baby on the way. Fall is my favorite time of year where I get to root on the football team at my alma mater, Texas A&M University. Whoop!
