BOTOX® Cosmetic

When you smile, laugh, or frown, you contract the muscles of your face. With time, these contractions produce permanent lines in the skin. These wrinkles can make you look older, sad, tired, or permanently angry. BOTOX®Cosmetic not only prevents you from deepening these lines during natural facial expressions, it eliminates…

Dysport®

Dysport® treatment provides temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) by reducing specific muscle activity. Wrinkles are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions, which mean they can even develop…

Kybella®

KYBELLA® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve your profile. KYBELLA® is also being used off-label to treat pockets of fat in the axilla, medial knee, lower abdomen, love handles, and banana roll (back of the thigh beneath your buttocks).

Who is a good candidate for dermal filler injections?

Anyone looking to enhance their appearance by restoring volume to areas of the face that have lost volume over time (including stubborn wrinkles not fully eliminated with BOTOX® or Dysport®) may be a good candidate for dermal fillers. During your consultation, Dr. Sato will evaluate your medical history and examine your skin to determine if Juvéderm® Volbella XC, Juvéderm® Ultra XC, Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC, Juvéderm® Vollure XC, Juvéderm® Voluma XC, Radiesse®, Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Refyne, Restylane® Defyne, and/or Restylane® Lyft is right for you.

What happens during dermal filler treatment?

Dermal filler injections take about 20 minutes to administer in the office. You will arrive 30 minutes early to apply a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area and reduce the risk of any potential discomfort.

Using a very fine needle, Dr. Sato will place a series of tiny injections into the skin along the areas being treated. During and after the injections, Dr. Sato may gently massage the treated areas to uniformly distribute the dermal filler.

What can I expect while recovering from dermal filler treatment?

An ice pack can be applied for the first 24 hours to help decrease swelling and bruising. There is no down time and you can return to normal activities with virtually no restrictions immediately after the procedure.

To minimize your chance for bruising it is best to avoid alcohol consumption for 48 hours prior to your injection. NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen or Aleve and Aspirin should be avoided for 7 days before and after the injection.
