If you could turn back the clock and look younger and more refreshed, would you? For many patients with aging skin, sagging eyebrows and loose forehead skin, a brow lift can create a facial transformation. These patients are amazed to look in the mirror and once again see the youth they thought was gone forever. Call us today and schedule your brow lift consultation with Dr. Sato.

What Is a Brow Lift?

A brow lift is a surgical procedure that lifts and tightens the forehead and brow area. Dr. Sato makes an incision that stretches between the ears and across the top of the forehead (hidden behind the hairline). Then the skin lifted, muscles are adjusted, excess skin is removed, etc. Finally, the incision is closed with stitches or staples. Start to finish, the procedure typically takes 1-2 hours. An endoscopic brow lift is also available. This procedure also lifts the area, but through 3-5 small incisions. Dr. Sato can help you determine which brow lift procedure will be most beneficial for your situation.

The Many Benefits of a Brow Lift

There are many benefits to a brow lift (too many to list them all here). Here are a few of our favorite reasons to consider this procedure:

  • Tighten Loose Forehead Skin: Loose skin on the forehead is a common complaint associated with aging. A brow lift can tighten this loose skin for a younger, more rejuvenated look.
  • Look Younger: Turn back the clock on your appearance and restore the confidence you once had.
  • Correct Drooping Eyebrows: Drooping eyebrows are easily corrected with a brow lift. When a brow lift is paired with blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), Dr. Sato can transform both the brow and eye area.
  • Natural-Looking Results: Dr. Sato is well-known for creating natural-looking results. When done properly, a brow lift will provide natural-looking rejuvenation to your forehead and brow areas.

What’s Recovery Like After a Brow Lift?

Recovery after your brow lift will depend on whether you had an endoscopic or a conventional brow lift. Dr. Sato can give you specific instructions and information about your expected recovery. Numbness, discomfort and swelling are common, especially around the incisions. Endoscopic patients typically experience this to a lesser degree.

Dr. Sato will ask you to avoid washing your hair for at least two days and to avoid strenuous activities for 3-4 weeks. You can typically return to work about a week after surgery.
